Bella House began as an original 1900s worker's cottage on a quiet Red Hill cul-de-sac.
Mark and Kim Biggs designed and built it as their own family home — a complete transformation that honours the heritage facade out front and reimagines everything behind it.

The c.1900 verandah and original timber fretwork were retained and restored — a deliberate nod to the home's history.

Bella House sold at auction on 14 November 2022 and broke the Red Hill suburb record for the highest sale price at the time. It was featured internationally by ABI Interiors, has its own house tour, and remains the project that put Kodiak on the map.
