Bella House — Kodiak Projects, Brisbane and Noosa

Bella House began as an original 1900s worker's cottage on a quiet Red Hill cul-de-sac.
Mark and Kim Biggs designed and built it as their own family home — a complete transformation that honours the heritage facade out front and reimagines everything behind it.
all began

The c.1900 verandah and original timber fretwork were retained and restored — a deliberate nod to the home's history.
That contrast between the heritage facade out front and the sleek, contemporary curves inside is exactly what made Bella House unlike anything else on the market.

Designed as a family home first — peaceful and calm, yet made for entertaining. An oasis on an inner-city block, wrapped in lush gardens, a pool and elevated, tree-lined views.

and see
A free-flowing lounge, living and dining area runs across the ground floor, with an electric fireplace and louvre windows for year-round comfort. The chef's kitchen opens through glass doors to the alfresco.

A sparkling lap pool wraps around the living area rather than sitting apart in the yard — an almost resort-like quality, rarely seen on a residential inner-city block.
Glass panelling and skylights draw light deep inside, while high ceilings and contemporary curves run throughout.

The chef's kitchen sits at the heart of the home — timber cabinetry, a generous island bench and glass doors that fold the space out to the alfresco. A glass-display wine cellar anchors the room as a feature in its own right.

Five bedrooms, three bathrooms and a layout that works as hard for everyday family life as it does for entertaining.
The privilege of your own private sanctuary, minutes from the city.
